2.1 Information you provide

• Account information: phone number, verification code, nickname, avatar, gender, date of birth, country/region, and password (if set).
• Pet profile: pet name, species, breed, photos, and other details you choose to add.
• Content you create: posts, comments, messages, photos, and reactions.
• Customer support: messages, feedback, and reports you submit to us.

2.2 Information collected automatically

• Device information: device model, operating system and version, language, time zone, mobile carrier, crash logs, and unique device identifiers (e.g. IDFV on iOS, Android ID, advertising identifiers where permitted).
• Usage information: pages and features you view, actions you take, timestamps, and referral data.
• Network information: IP address, general location inferred from IP, and connection type.
• Camera & photo library: only when you grant permission, for features such as posting pet photos or pet-recognition scanning. Images are processed on-demand for the feature you invoke.
• Notifications: push tokens used to deliver notifications you have opted into.

2.3 Information from third parties

• Crash and analytics providers (to diagnose errors and improve quality).
• Other users (e.g. when they mention you or send you messages).

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
• Create and secure your account, authenticate logins, and prevent fraud or abuse.
• Personalize content, recommendations, and features.
• Communicate with you about updates, security notices, and support.
• Operate features you invoke, such as pet recognition, messaging, and sharing.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:

In our app, we may use local storage and SDKs that perform similar functions to cookies for authentication, preferences, and analytics. Our web pages may use cookies, which you can control through your browser settings.

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes, after which we delete or anonymize it. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
